Public Use of Library Poilcy

The Library is available for public use within the following guidelines. 

Permitted Uses

  • All meetings must be free and open to the public. Unless specifically approved by the Library Trustees, no fees, dues, or donations may be charged or solicited for any program.
  • Our building may not be used for commercial and/or for profit purposes, such as investment seminars, sales/services demonstrations, programs offers by private, for-profit health care representatives, etc.
  • The Library is designed to meet general informational, educational, cultural, civic needs, including activities such as discussion groups, panels, lecturers, conferences, seminars, exhibits, displays, story times, puppet shows, films, etc.
  • The Library may not be used for religious services or political campaigns. However, religious study groups and political forums are permitted. Use of the Library does not constitute Library endorsement of viewpoints expressed by participants in the program.
