c. Programming Director’s Report –

1. Animal Tracking Program with Evans Mills Library

• Big success!  First program with Evans Mills – over 50 people
• Wants to come back for a bird program

2. Upcoming Easter Program/ Sensory Bunny Programs

• March 23rd – 10:30 at the library – the Easter Bunny will walk the kids out to the Easter Egg Hunt that is put on by the Legion
• Sensory Bunny at 2:00 (sign up thru Encompass Rec.)

3. Eclipse Event thru Sci-Tec Centers 

• March 30th @ 11:00 – a sign up will come out from the Sci-Tec Center because there can only be 25 participants

4.  Solar Eclipse Event at the Library – April 8th @ 2:00ish

• 500 glasses for everyone
• 100 books – first come, first serve
• Event – meet at the library, go over safety rules, get glasses, go watch the eclipse, come back to make cookies and snacks.  
• Delores and Courtney will make cookies and frosting for April 8th

III.         New Business

1. Voting for new Treasurer for Board of Trustees
   1. Meeting with NCLS – we need a new treasurer because Shawn is now the Director and he shouldn’t be the director and the treasurer
      1. Mary Louise will run the report and provide it to the board of directors

2. Approval of new Child Behavioral Policy
   1. Policy for child supervision
   2. Children 9 and under must have an adult
   3. Children 10 and above can come to the library unsupervised
   4. Library staff can request parental supervision at any time

3. Approval of Tentative 2023 Annual Report – tabled til next month
4. School Walking Field Trips
   1. May or June – Mary Louise will work with Courtney for dates/examples of types of trips
